Hi,

Right-click Start, click Properties, and then click Customize.
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Clear List. If you're using the
Classic Start menu, click Clear.
Clicking Clear List empties the following items:

1. My Recent Documents folder
2. RunMRU items. (sometimes you may need to logoff and login back)
3. Network places MRU lists
3. Common Dialog box entries (file open/save as window)

Run entries are stored in this part of the registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
]
