Run Excel

Each time I run Excel, another application of Excel runs
so that I have multiple tabs on my Start Toolbar. How do
I limit this to only one application that may have muliple
workbooks open?
 
Possibly you have only one instance running. Excel 2000 and on add an entry
in the taskbar for each open file.
If you do not want this: Tools|Options->View and uncheck Windows in Taskbar
