Run a macro following Autofilter selection

I want to run a macro following the selection of an Autofilter option.
The macro runs fine (it retrieves the value of the Autofilte
selection), but I don't want to have to run it manually. I have no
found a similar question on the Microsoft site, or anywhere else.
did notice the one thread regarding running a macro after leaving
cell, but you don't have to enter or leave a cell to use th
Autofilter.

Is this possible?

If the table contains formulas, you could run the macro on the
Worksheet_Calculate event. For example:

Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
MyAutoFilterMacro
End Sub
