Rules - Redirect - retain cc field

Hello, I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to redirect messages to
an external SMTP address without losing the cc field. Thanks

In what kind of environment?
Version of Outlook?
Type of email account you receive the message with?
Type of email account you want the message to be forwarded to?

Thanks for your reply. I am using MS ourlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) Sp3. I
want to set rule and redirect the email received in company outlook to my
personal email address like gmail and yahoo mail. But I found that the cc
field of the original email is missing in the redirected email account.
Please advise.

You might first want to consult with your manager or the corporate admin to
verify if this confirms with your corporate policy. Most companies are not
too thrilled about redirecting corporate email to private accounts. If they
want you to be able to read corporate email at home or somewhere else other
than at the company, then they are a lot of options available which are much
more convenient than what you are trying to do. Ask if they have something
in place already.

That said, you can specify to forward it as an attachment as well when you
want it to do it by a rule.
A better option (if you want to go for forwarding) would be to have your
admin set a direct redirect on your Active Directory User Object on the
server. Then the message will arrive like a normal message with the
recipients intact.

Thanks for your advice. There is no problem to redirect my company email to
my personal gmail account. What I concern is the cc field is missing in the
redirected email. I prefer redirect function rather than forwarding because
I can reply to the sender directly. But I can't reply to all as the cc field
is missing in the redirected email.

The server-side forward (set by your admin) can be setup in such a way that
it actually a redirect. In that case the CC info is maintained as well.
