Rules in outlook 2000, CAN ANYONE HELP

I am currently using Outlook Express because me and my housemate, use the one
service provider, but have different e-mail address. In Express you can
create a rule, so you can not download a particular e-mail address. Outlook
its self does not seem to have this feature, because I’m more accustomed to
using outlook I want to use it, however I’m getting all e-mails. Is there
anyway a similar rule can created as the same as express

It would apear from this discription that you actually DON'T have separate
mail addresses; that both addresses are actually aliases that both point to
the same POP mailbox.

The best way to deal with this, in my opinion, is to use separate user
accounts if you have a version of Windows that supports this, like Windows
2000 or XP. Then you each have your own username and completely separate
message stores. If you wish to use no login, then the second best choice is
to each have a separate mail profile, which will still keep your mail
isolated. Finally, if you wish to use neither, then you'll need to use
rules that separate the incoming messages into distinct folders, based on
recipient address.
