Rules and the Junk E-mail folder

I only have one rule set-up. It is supposed to act on rules in the Junk
E-mail folder but only works on the Inbox. IE the rule only acts on the Inbox
AFTER junk mail is sorted to the Junk box. So, none of the targeted mail gets
filtered. I have tested this. If I send a message that does NOT get placed in
the Junk box, the rule works. The rule doses NOT affect messages that get
placed in the Junk E-mail box. How do I get the rule to run automatically in
the Junk E-mail folder?

Rules will only work on the Inbox automatically. Is there any way for you
get the mail that's getting Junk'd to not be (setting up Trusted Senders or
Recipients)?

Thanks Vince,

That's was what I was afraid of. It's yet another Microsoft POS that is
poorly designed. The rules should be allied where YOU want them to be. NOT
where Microsoft wants them to be. To answer your question, yes, I could set
it so the messages go to the Inbox. That would negate the purpose of having
the Junk box in the first place.
