Hello, looking to create a rule to take action on a word in a subject but
only in a certain order

example:
take action on messages with subject "Cubs"(first four characters) but do
not act on message where subject is "pick up food at Cubs market"

thanks for any help,

George

Remember that rules only work on incoming mails or when you send mails.
You can create a rule on messages containing "cubs" in the subject and
define exceptions to the rule for "pick up food at Cubs market" or whatever...

Make the rule using Subject Contains cubs. then use the exception step to
say except if subject contains space cubs.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
