Is there a site that shows the steps to slipstream the SP1 into the vista
dvd?

I want to be ready when the RTM is released as a download

Hi,

Don't know of any at the moment, but I would use CAUTION before
slipstreaming SP1 as soon as SP1 comes out.

This has been known since Vista went RTM in Nov. 2006, so it's nothing
new.

Wait until SP1 DVDs are available pre-integrated, then order an Anytime
Upgrade disc. Voila, SP1 DVD ready to use!
That's what I'll be doing.

Microsoft has a new slipstream process that may be available in SP2 which is
more convenient than the old process (and is already available in Office
2007). It simply isn't available for SP1.

If your "horrible" comments were directed at the instructions at those
links, those are not Microsoft instructions but an attempt to reverse
engineer the process. Microsoft recommends that you do not "reverse
integrate" SP1 or use vLite.
