RSS feeds no longer automatically updating

Q

Qu0ll

Vista Ultimate 32-bit:

For some reason, all my RSS feeds in IE and Outlook 2007 have stopped
automatically updating. I have checked and every one of them is still
configured to update every 15 minutes but for 2 days now there have been no
updates until I manually do a "Refresh All".

How do I fix this?

Solved by exporting all feeds, clearing RSS cache and re-importing all
feeds.

Just FYI as they say :)

Unfortunately I jumped too soon. Re-importing the feeds got them to update
once only and since then they are not updating again.

How do I fix this once an for all? I have tried re-importing twice to no
avail.

Qu0ll,

Tried clearing the feeds database as well? If not try that again and see if
that helps.

Secondly, ensure that the Task Scheduler service is running.

Do you mean delete the contents of the Feeds folder? If so, I did that as
part of the importing.
Secondly, ensure that the Task Scheduler service is running.

How do I check that?

Nope. Deleting the "FeedsStore.feedsdb-ms" would suffice.

Click Start, type Services.msc and press ENTER
Double-click "Task Scheduler" and check the "Service status" field.

Doesn't help unfortunately.
Click Start, type Services.msc and press ENTER
Double-click "Task Scheduler" and check the "Service status" field.

Task Scheduler is definitely running.

Any other ideas?
