rsomsft3.exe

Recently I noticed my computer started running very slow.
Since I hadn't "intentionally" added any programs to my
hard drive that might cause a problem, I wondered why the
slowdown. By using the Windows Task Manager I was able to
determine that my CPU was running at 100% continuously. I
knew that was not suppose to happen. Further
investigation showed that a program called "rsmosft3.exe"
was causing 97% of the CPU usage. Ending the process of
the rsmosft3.exe program released the processor and it
began working properly again as did the rest of the
computer. My question is: What the heck
is "rsomft3.exe" ? A search of my computer shows the
program is located in C:\Windows\system32. I scanned the
program with an Anti-Virus, and it ran clean. Anyone got
any ideas?

It is likely you have some spyware that should be removed.
"rsomft3.exe" is not a Windows XP file....it is likely a "spyware"
file.
