I am getting an error message when I get online for about
2 mins. I get an error square box that says something to
the effect of "Windows will restart because the Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM (can't remember
the verb) unexpectedly." On the box, there is a 60 second
timer. When it reaches zero, the computer restarts. Has
anyone ever heard of this before? What can I do to fix
this problem? Thanks for any help

Heres my real post. Sorry for that babbling but

I'm a little bit drunk.

You probally have a virus

Use this link

http://microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.a

sp?url=/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-026.asp

Download the patch, and install it. This should

stop the problem. However, you still need to

get rid of the virus.

If you don't have a virus scanner then you need

a slap (or download a trial version of Norton

antivirus (recommended)). If you do, then run a

virus scan in you Windows directory (usually

C:\Windows\).

The scan may tell you that you have a virus

affecting mblast.exe

If you are running norton Antivirus it will

give you a link to download a tool to fix the

virus. download it, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, then

run it.

This should fix the problem.

I hope this works, as it seems to be a VERY

common problem.

You have the Blaster worm!!

First, stop the bug from running by hitting CTRL-ALT-DELETE and
bringing up the task manager. Look for msblast.exe in the list, and
kill it. Now your computer won't shut down, but the bug is still there
and will run the next time you start your machine. Go to this URL to
find out how to get rid of it:
