RPC service terminated

When ever I dial up to the internet using a standard dial
up connection my PC freezers a couple of minutes later. I
have been getting the below event logs. To try and solve
this I have updated to SP3 and IE6 but it has not resolved
it.

As soon as you can!

Get a firewall! You NEED one. There are several free ones, including
ZoneAlarm ( www.zonealarm.com ) and Sygate ( www.sygate.com )

Then go to WindowsUpdate to pick up the latest updates:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I recommend this over ZoneAlarm (That thing is as much use as a chocolate
fireguard).
