rpc service terminated unexpectedly

When i connect to the internet within 30 seconds i get a
RPC service terminated unexpectedly error. then i get a 1
min. countdown clock and then windows restarts even though
auto restart on system failure is turned off. Can anyone
help me in this matter?

Also enable Windows XP's built in firewall:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;283673

Then go to WindowsUpdate to pick up the latest updates:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Your computer appears to have been infected by a nasty new worm.
To remove the worm, please read the instructions provided below:

you can prevent your computer from shutting down by clicking Start / Run.
Type SHUTDOWN -A. Click OK.

I have the same darn problem. we are not alone. My
colleague and my friend all got this problem today. I
seems like an explosion of the virus via internet.
Ergent problem.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!
