I am a computer novice and I have problem with my pc every
time I log onto the internet I get a remote procedure
error and this causes my pc to restart a very irrating
problem does anyone know what this is is it a virus a
software problem if anyone can help I would really
appreciate it.

sounds like the worm that's been going around lately...

look for it in the task manager and end the process then go patch your
system

I think you have the msblast.exe worm....(a virus)
you have had to do 2 things:

1-search for this file to look into this folder...

c:\windows\system32\msblast.exe).
when its in,delete it.

2-go to start>run and type regedit in here

you will see a box and go to this location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run\auto update"\

here you must see again the name msblast.exe or
something... delete i and try restart the pc...
