| What do you guys think about this story and is this theme really created
by
| Microsoft?

I put it on my laptop. Seems to work fine. Looks nice, I like it.

If you believe the digital signing for the luna.msstyles file it does indeed
appear to be from Microsoft.

I did not install it on my MCE computer. (saw your post there) I don't make
changes on that one for cosmetic purposes.

created by Microsoft?

Supposedly it was, but I believe there is a good reason for them to keep it
secret.
I put it on a newly imaged pc to see what it looked like and it was kind of
cool for a while. Then I started dinking around with it because that's what
I do. At one point, very early in the dinking around stage, I changed it to
classic style. Everything except the icons went black, even in safe mode. I
couldn't do anything to change it back because I couldn't see anything but
icons. If I clicked on an icon, I couldn't see the result, so it was
impossible to make any changes. I ended up logging on as administrator and
doing a system restore. I won't be recommending that theme to anyone I know,
although I suppose it could be a fun practical joke to play on someone who
likes tinkering with their desktop.

Ok I switch to classic style several times and never had any issue at
all.
Well, that is very good for you and I wish you continued good luck with it.
If the issue should arise, just remember system restore.

taskbar looks good but very plain in my computer all grey like the system
task area on the left you can see what I mean also doesn't work with office
2003.

never mind I fixed it if you want to know how make a sub folder in the zune
folder call it shell and then make sub folder in the shell folder call it
NormalColor and then put the shell style in the NormalColor folder and then
everything well be right.

I've done that earlier when looking at other forums and forgot to mention it
here. Thanks for the info anyway.

I installed this, but every time I restart my computer, XP reverts back
to Windows Classic, forcing me to go into the Themes folder and
double-click on the noir theme again. Anyone know why it won't stay
put after a restart? I installed just as I did the other themes.

thanks
