Good luck trying to find out how to make your Roxio program to work after you upgrade to Windows XP it won't happen. I get a window that reads The program has become unstable and could cause windows to crash. All Roxio drivers have been disabled to continue running xp. If anyone has any clues please email me.

Use Nero

I have been using Roxio (now Platinum 5) S/W for many years and without any problems since installing it on my XP system although I
must admit that Nero (which was pre-installed on the XP system) seems to need to stay installed although it is never used.. When I
removed the Nero program package it obviously removed a module that the Burner program uses so it's back on but unused.

What version of Roxio are you using? Version 5.3 is the latest 5 series that
will run on XP, available for DL from Roxio. Of course, Roxio 6 runs on XP
also. Check the Roxio user forums. You'll find helpful info there. Good
luck.

FYI: v5.3 runs without issue after I upgraded to XP.

I have used Roxio since ver 3.5 (wasn't Roxio back in those days) and have
never had any issues with it. Curt is correct...any version 5.3 and above
works fine with XP. I have used vers 5, 6 and 7.
