Row Numbers

Is there any way to hide the row numbers (on the left) and column letters (on
top) in Normal View? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try this:

<Tools> <Options> <View> tab,

And under "Window Options",
*Uncheck*
"Row & Column Headers".
 
Click on Tools | Options | View tab and uncheck "Row & column
headers",then click OK.
