ROW and COLUMN markers missing, how to get them back

Hello,
MS EXCEL 2003 on XP PRO.

My co-woker has an excel document that does not display the row and column
markers.

ETC.

How do we re-display those?
 
Go to
Tools-Options, View
Place a check mark in the Row and Column Headers box.

on the menu bar...
tools>options>view tab> check row & column headers.
