Router probe shows open ports

I have a Network Everywhere router. When I go to the grc.com website, it
shows almost all ports as closed, port 80 as open and about 4 ports as
stealth.

From my understanding, I thought that a router was supposed to show all
ports as stealth. Is there something that I have misconfigured and could
correct?

I do have block wan requests as enabled and there is no port forwarding, nor
is my pc listed in the dmoz zone.

I know the problem is with the router. If I place my pc's IP in the DMOZ,
my software firewall takes over when I run the grc port scan and show's all
ports as stealth.

thx

The ports generally are configured to be stealth but I guess that's not
always the case. If port 80 is open then your router is configured to allow
http traffic across the router and most likely is forwarding the traffic to
a specific computer. Are you or someone at your organization running a web
server?
Either way, you should be able to edit it using your router configuration
software. In your browser type in the internal address of your router. You
should get a prompt for a username and password. If you haven't set a
password use the default which should be in your manual but is possibly
admin and a blank password. Also, because it's a wireless router and you
didn't mention that you had setup encryption it is very possible that
someone else who you may or may not know has done all the configuring for
you. I recommend calling the police before you disconnect the cracker if it
is found that the individual is using your connection to host some files.

It is an 802.11b router and I do have an admin id and password setup. I've
also got a WEP password in place although I do know that they are easily
hackable. The router is at home and we don't have a web server running.

When I look at the router configuration, Http Port 80 is not forwarded
anywhere.
