Hi

I have a small network at home with outlook 2003 installed on all 3 PCs.
I have located the .pst file on a sever disk where all PCs have access.
This means that I can access my mail from any of my PC. This works
almost 100%.

However, there is one this that I can't get to work properly and that is
the roules setting that I use to relocate the mails after reciving them.

With one PC this work perfectly fine. Based on subject or sender the
mails was relocated to proper folder.

Now with Outlook on 3 pc the roules setting is failing everytime. I've
got an error message and the mails stays i the inbox folder. I can the
maually run the rouls to relocate the mails..
When I the look in the roules setting I can see that the failing roules
have been ticked of. I can then tick this roules and it will work fine
as long as I don't open Outlook on a different machine.

Can anyone help to solve this problem?

1 - MS recommends not placing PSTs on a network shares.
2 - Did you export the rules from one machine to place on the others because
the folder path somehow has the path to PST in them also so you'd need to
reset the folder location in each rule on each machine.

OK. But the advantage it givs me is big.

No, I created it on each machine.

On one pc the drive letter i G and on the other it's F.
Do You think that matters?

1 - True but they may be subject to more damaging corruption
2 - Possibly but I'm not sure.
