I just purchased a Windows XP pro machine and added it to my network. I have a Win 2K Advanced server domain with 10 workstations all Win 2K and one XP home. All machines except one can see ,share and ping the new machine. It's just one Win 2K pro box and the XP Pro box that refuse to see each other. I have tried everything I have read and know to fix this. I'm at my wits end. The machines can't ping each other but other machines can ping them and they can ping others. I can't begin to troubleshoot it if I can't ping them. I'm lost please help me if you can

Check the firewall settings on the XP Pro machine. This
might be stopping the other machine from seeing it
