Rotating Text in a Report

Is there any way to rotate a text field 90 degrees? I want to print the
title of an album along the spine of the box.

What version of Access? In Access 2003, there's a Vertical text property you
can set. (Sorry, I don't remember in which version of Access it was
introduced). If your version doesn't, check what Stephen Lebans has at

I have Access 2002, and it does have a Vertical yes/no on the "Other" tab of
the properties box. I have selected "yes." I can't see anything in preview
or when it prints; however, if I try and type in the box, the cursor is
correct, but I can't see anything that I type either.

Two points:

1) Make sure you have have the Margin props for the TextBox are set to 0.
2) Change the Font you are using.

Well, changing the font made it visible, but it's not vertical I want. It
should be rotated 90 degrees, like the spine on a book.

Two points:

1) Make sure you have have the Margin props for the TextBox are set to 0.
2) Change the Font you are using.

On the "other" tab in the properties box you can say whether you want your
text to be rotated 90 degrees.

I am not sure whether you want this or whether you want the letters to be
written normally but vertically like:

E
R
T
I
C
A
L
