rotating display

how do I rotate the display back to normal. After playing a game my kid
somehow had the display sideways. Any help is much appreciated.

You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".
