rotate excel charts in word

How do I rotate an excel chart 90 degrees once I have
inserted it into a word97 document? I want the bar chart
to run up the page, with the x-axis on the right hand
margin. Changing the page layout from portrait to
landscape is no good because the header & footer would
also be affected.
