root+childdomains root gone.

Hi all,

I have a w2k3 root+childomain forest, 1tree.
Site rpelication is form the childdomains to the root and viceversa.

Do you have any document that explain what could be considered ad disaster
recovery scenario when the root is not in place anymore (ie an earthquake
damage the root).

Short-term, not a great deal of trouble - other than the fact that you will
not be able to perform Enterprise-wide functions (membership in Enterprise
Admins won't be available).

Long-term, you will have to reestablish the root servers and replication to
them or AD will fail.
