I have been asked to find out if it is possible to exclude certain
file types (e.g. .mp3, .avi) from being stored in the roaming profile.

Cheers,
Chris

Chris,

The process of copying up and down a roaming profile does not do any
checking for files types.
There are portions of the profile that are not roamed but if a user chooses
to store a large media file in an area that is roamed then this will impact
the size of the profile and the time to logoff and logon.
You could consider using a logoff script to scan for media files (or
whatever you wish) and move them out of the profile or to the non raomed
area prior to the rest of the logoff process (copying back the profile etc).
