Roaming profiles delema

Where I work, we have roaming profiles configured. I have a user who will be
starting to use a laptop and a desktop. He will have specific software on
the laptop that he does nto want on the desktop. Is there any way to do
this. We are running Windows XP Pro on all desktops and laptops, and Windows
2000 Server on the backend.

There should be nothing to do with roaming profile. If your user does not
want the software on the desktop, then just install it on the laptop. That's
it.
