Roaming profile

How do I create a roaming profile? I don't have a server,
nor a domain. Just a bunch of computers running XP. Some
are XP Home and the others are Professional. I have one
that I 'could' set up to be a server (providing I knew
how) but it's running Home. I want to create a roaming
profile. I do have a spare hard drive that is used for
nightly backups, that the profile could be stored on, if
it can be done. How do I do this?
