roaming profile permissions

I am looking into setting up roaming profiles for our users and would like
to set these profiles to be Restricted User type. Is their a way of setting
the user type centrally or would I have to include the account on every
local machine and then set it to Restricted User (kind of defeats the
purpose)?

Any advice appreciated.
 
Do you have AD installed on the machine as this would make
this kind of administration easier?
