roaming profile and shortcut to msn messenger

I have a roaming profile setup on my xp pro systems at home. I have the
profiles stored on the server. I made a shortcut to the msn messenger 6.1
program and put it on the taskbar for easy finding on one of the xp systems.
Logically it seems that it should also work on the other system as well but
it neither shows up right nor works when I click on it. What gives? Every
other program I put on there (as long as it is also installed on the other
system) works fine.
 
Make sure the profile that it is roaming to has Read
permissions on the Shortcut.
