Ripping music in XP and the custom folder pictures that appear

I have recently ripped some of my CDs to MP3 using CDex and downloaded
the CD information for them from the remote CDDB that is available in
CDex. After the CDs have ripped and in the folder structure that I
specified there is the picture of the CD cover on the folder. Now,
while I'm not complaining about these pictures as I actually want them
there, I am intrigued as to where they came from as I have not
downloaded them at any stage and if I go into the folder customisation
settings (right click, properties, customise) and then browse for a
picture, the picture of the CD that is displayed is not present nor is
it anywhere (as far as I can tell) on my pc.

In addition, it does not happen for all of my CDs, none of my
Nightwish folders have these album cover pictures on their folder
icon.

Any help or light that can be shed on where these pictures have come
from and how I can apply it to my Nightwish would be gratefully
received.

Operating system is WinXP with Media Player 9 and fully updated
(except WMP10)

Many thanks,

Si

I'd presume this is something the CDDB lookup did via CDex....

Perhaps there weren't any available for download/lookup/whatnot.
