Ringing noise

Everytime a page loads a telephone ring comes through the speakers. It only
happens on one account on the computer. No one can figure out how to turn it
off or why it's doing that. It's not coming from any pop-up blockers or
firewalls. Any help would be appreciated.

How about under Start>Control Panel>Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices>Change
the Sound Scheme. Select the Sounds tab. Next, under Program Events,
scroll down to the Windows Explorer section and check under Complete
Navigation and Start Navigation to see whether a sound is associated with
either of those events. If so, select None.
