Rights necessary for an user to view the security logs within the event Viewer - Windows XP Pro Serv

We have Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 on our domain. We would like our
regular domain users and these users would be in the local User group on the
Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 client. What are the minimum rights they
would need to view the security log within the event viewer. Currently
they are getting the following message when doing so "Unable to complete the
operation on "Security". A required privilege is not held by the client"

Any suggestion are welcome.
