right mouse click

All of a sudden the right mouse click does not respond properly. A right
click on the desktop does not bring up the "new" category and the same in
the explorer pane. I cannot make a new folder.

Somebody took away your privileges.......the mouse works fine

To get the "New" menu back, type REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL
(You should run the command from Administrator privileged account)

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:
