right-clicking annoyance

Sometimes when I right-click in a text field I am presented with options such
as "Right to left reading order" and something about "Unicode", which I find
distracting because all I want is cut, copy, paste, and select all. How do I
hide these distracting options?

You've got something installed that inserted those options in your
right-click context menu. The easiest way to manage the right-click
context entries is with the free ShellExView:

Control Panel | Reigonal and language.. | Languages tab | Uncheck the first checkbox.
| OK

Good Luck, Ayush.

The first option didn't help me at all and the second option cannot help me
because I'm using Windows Vista. I posted the question on this forum because
I also had the same problem when I was using Windows XP so I figured the
answer would be the same, but what is this checkbox I need to uncheck, like
what is it called, and where would I find it in Windows Vista?

I'm sorry, I should have specified why the program did not work for me. The
context menu entries that the Shell Extensions progam listed did not have
anything related to Unicode, IME, or keyboard input, which I imagine is what
those options are for. So that is why that program did not help me in ridding
me of the "Open IME"/Unicode.

Post to a Vista newsgroup.
