Hi all,

I've looked around a bit and can't seem to find my answer. so I'll try it
here.

I have multiple forms that use text boxes, and some of my users are not
comfortable using the CTRL-C to copy information. they would like to be able
to select the text and right click to copy that information. How do I enable
this?

I'm using access 2003.

Thanks
Casper

Although I'm using Access 2002, not 2003, I assume that 2003 works the
same as far as this goes. So I'm puzzled by your question. They ought
to be able to select the text in the text box, then right-click and
choose Copy from the context menu, without your having to do anything in
particular to enable the feature. That works fine for me. If it
doesn't work for you, have you overridden the standard context menu with
your own?

The only thing I see is a customized menu and toolbar. The forms are set to
yes for Shortcut Menu.

in the menu bar there is still a selection for Edit\Copy.

Under startup it says Shortcut Menu Bar (default), making changes to this
doesnt seem to help either..

does that answer your question, or am I missing something? still kind of new
to access.

The application has customized toolbar and menu bar. all of the forms are set
up with Shortcut Menu as Yes. In Startup the Shortcut Menu Bar: is set to
(default), I've made some changes to this are and still no right click menu.

I'm still new to access and I picked this application up from another
programmer so not sure if that answers your question or not.

New to this board to so please disregard my double post. thought it didnt
save my original response.

I found it. Under Start up, the Menu Bar: did not allow for default Shortcut
Menus....not sure why, but now I can get the right click menu to show up.
