right click shortcut menus

Recently whenever I right click to obtain the shortcut menu it comes up
invisible and i must run my mouse over each title for it to reveal itself. Im
not sure how or why the shortcut menus became invisible, but I would like
help if anyone knows how to return them to normal.

Try resetting the Theme preferences:

Right-click Desktop, choose Properties
In the Themes drop-down, select Windows Classic and click OK
Repeat the steps and change the Theme to Windows XP
