Right click on picture to Send To Mail Recipient fails

When right-clicking on a picture in my desktop or my pictures and selecting
SendTo/Mail Recipient, I get an error message from Outlook : "Operation
Failed". I use XP and Outlook 2003 is my default. This happened with IE 6
and now with IE7.Detect and repair did not help.I need your help!!! Thank you.
 
Have you selected Outlook as your email program in Internet Options, Programs?
 
I'm having the same problem all of a sudden, but I still have IE 6. I also
tried detect and repair which didn't help. I'm hoping someone can help us
with this. Thanks
 
I tried everything in vain. Had other problems on my computer too so I just
had XP reinstalled and it now works. Sorry not to be more helpful.
