I have usually unzipped .zip files by right-clicking them and dragging them
to an "unzip folder" and dropping (clicking on "unzip here", in the
resulting WinZip right click menu over the unzip-folder), but recently using
the right click on zipped files have started to either opening/unzipping the
files or displaying the right click WinZip menu immediately, rather than
just selecting the files for dragging. And when the WinZip right click menu
is displayed, dragging the file by holding down the right mouse button
doesn't work, except sporadically (strangely enough). Left-clicking on a
file lets me move it to a new position/folder however, but then WinZip's
right-click menu isn't displayed, letting me specify "unzip here",
naturally.
I have used WinZip and Windows for many years (98SE, 2000 and now, XP)
without having had this problem with drag-and-drop before, as far as can
remember, so what can I be doing wrong? (my mouse is an optical Logitech USB
mouse)
