IT SEEMS EXIST A PROBLEM WITH THOSE DRIVERS. WHEN I PUT MY 2 GB SD CARD
INSIDE OF RICOH SLOT, WPD FILESYSTEM VOLUME DRIVER DOESN'T START (CODE 10).
ANY SOLUTION OR WE HAVE HEAR A VISTA BUG?
HOWEVWE WHEN I CONNECT A MULTIMEDIA CARD READER 4-IN-1, BY USB, EVERYTHING
IS OK. MY NOTEBOOK IS A ASUS A6U AND THIS CARD READER WORKS UNDER XP SP2 BUT
NOT IN VISTA. ANSWERS WILL BE APPRECIATE.

Did these drivers also lock your caps lock key, or are you just used to
shouting? :)

Ok, I see! By the way, you don't know nothing about this problem? Because you
wrote two replies, without nothing about my question. What a waste of time!

Have you asked Ricoh whether they will be providing Vista drivers for your
Ricoh card reader?

It could be the device description is not in Vista. I had a
similar problem with an external USB floppy in Win x64. The
floppy works fine in XP 32-bit, but the description is not
in the usbstor.inf file in Win x64. It was confirmed by a
Msft employee that it was not included in the Win x64 file,
but no one ever gave a reason.

Are you using x64 or x32?
Can you give more information about your current driver?
Have you tried any other flash cards?
Can you type the problem with normal capitalization?
With what computer did you get the SD/MMC controller?
Does this adapter also accept XD and MMC cards?

Microsoft Update optional components installed updates on November 18th for
me, whih fixed this problem for me using RC2 on an Inspiron 6400.

You need both the driver updates for MMC Host Controller, and Memory Stick
Host Controller.

Have you checked optional updates in Windows Update?

Card-reader doesn't work normally: 1. Dont perform formatting the sd-card, formatting started, but before it finished- windows error message displayed.
2. If i copy files from notebook to sd-card, or delete files from sd-card -operation finished unsuccess, windows error message displayed.
In any case, card-reader lose card, and see it only when i eject and install card again. Installed latest Drivers for ricoh card-reader. What the problem? winxp sp2

I also have this problem, but installing the update did not help. I
think I may need to reinstall the update but cannot figure out how to do
so...any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

I have similar problems under windows 2003 on ASUS F3Ja. I installed Ricoh drivers for flash card reader but i cannot detect the SD Host.
Device manager show a Unknown PCI Device with a yellow question mark, that i checked to be recognized as Ricoh device.
No windows update to fix the problem.
I am quite sure that this is a driver problem.
Does someone have a correct driver for windows 2003?

Thanks,
Kenoby
