entry from the list, and create a log. Post the full information here:

Ramesh said:You mean the Open with list? That's not a problem, as it will add
automatically when you browse and select Wordpad.exe once. Wordpad.exe is
located here:
%programfiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe
BTW, what's the status about the RTF icon problem?

I erased the reg setting. But now I lost my Wordpad on the right click menu
..
I don't have Word. Only the word viewer 2003 and in it I can only view text
and not write.

Ramesh said:The icon settings are correct. However, the following is not required:
- - -
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.RTF]
"Progid"="rtffile"
- - -
Open Regedit.exe and navigate to the above location. Backup the key to a
REG
file, and then delete the value named "Progid".
See if a reboot fixes the problem. If not, download the attached .ICO file
and save to your Windows folder. Then use Folder Options, File Types
dialog
to change the icon for .RTF files (point to the .ICO file you downloaded).

Icon is ok. What I meant with the worpad. Is I can open wordpad, write and
save. But when I have saved the document witch can only be saved in rtf
format and close it. Next time I open it, it doesn't open with wordpad
instead it opens with Word Viewer 2003 and their I can not type only view my
document. It's like Wordpad disapears to be the primary type and view
program
