Revise Color Coding

J

Okay, I color coded emails from certain senders. Love it. Works fine.

Except, I accidently color-coded a couple people I didn't want to be color
coded. Funny thing... I can't change it back. I try color coding that
person's email to "auto" or "black" and it stays Red.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think you need to get into the Automattic formatting settings. Right click
the column headers in the Inbox | Customise Current View and go through the
automatic formatting section. You may be able to delete the settings you
don't want.

I had already tried that. Even tho the rule for that particular person is
gone, his emails still remain color coded.

I had tried creating a new rule that sets his emails to black, but that
didn't work either.

Try deleting a rule that colours emails from someone with a similar name.
Look for someone with any 3 letters of their name (first or last) in the
same order and delete that one - see if that stops it.
