Return to only "Administrator" account

I want to delete all users and return to only using the default
"Administrator" account. I added two new user accounts (for seperate use of
Outlook 2000) and now want to return to the settings of the original
Administrator account. I deleted one user but cannot delete the other. With
the Administrator account not easily accessible (the wife likes the welcome
screen), I need to delete the other user account and return to using only the
Administrator account.
Is this possible? Windows wants to keep the second user that has
administrator priviliges, telling me I must always have one user with
administrator priviliges.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is not wise to do what you are trying to do.If you end up having problems
with this account and you lose access to XP how would you fix without the
default administrator account.
The default account went into hiding the minute you created your own account but
it is still accessible thru "safe Mode"

Or if you have XP Pro pressing ctrl alt del at the welcome screen, twice,
brings up the original login dialog where u can log into the admin account.

But as Peter stated you do not want to use the Admin account for daily use.
Once you toast it, reinstall is about the only thing you have left.

I was wondering the same, but with another question too. We have had our
windows xp for awhile, we DID NOT set up an account, just used the computer
administrator. I then set up an account and would like all the files that
were created when we were using the computer administrator to now open up
when we log on as the other aministrator account under our names. Is this
possible? Right now, I am pressing alt contrl del at the welcome menu and
typing in administrator to get to our files, and internet etc. Any help with
moving our information is great.
Thanks,
Charlotte
