Return Receipt

I use Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server. Is there any way to block Return
Receipt requests from
other users? I used Microgarden for previous versions, but it does not work
for 2003.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

IIRC, the Exchange server will gray out the option to not return receipts in
a policy.

Milly,

Thanks for the reply, but I thought it was understood that the option was
"grayed out" when I stated
that I was using an Exchange Server. I am looking for a third party
software or perhaps another option.
I use Microgarden with my Desktop that has Outlook 2000 on my Exchange
Server, but it does not
play nice with Outlook 2003.

Don't know of any add-ins but there is always google.

I'm using an Exchange server and the option is NOT grayed out, so the one
doesn't imply the other. It simply depends on what your local policies are.
I am looking for a third party
software or perhaps another option.

Most companies frown on employees violating their established mail policies.
Some even fire people for it.

Termination is not a concern for me. Just looking to block return receipts.

Since it appears to be a group policy at your site, unless you have
permission to modify that policy, I don't think you'll be able to do what
you want.

Brian,

Thanks for your concern, the group policy is not a concern, I have Admin
rights to all of the computers in my department. I am trying to find a 3rd
party piece of software that will block return receipts.

I have used Microgarden in the past, but it only seems to work well with
Outlook 2000 and
earlier versions. I have approximately 5 desktops/laptops in my department
with OL 2003
that have no way to block return receipts.
