Retrieving older emails

I did a system restore and therefore had reinstall Outlook ... is there a way
to retrieve the previous emails I had in my inbox?? It's no longer available
on the web app. for my email provider b/c Outlook "pulls it from the server"
as they said. Please advise.

System Restore does not affect your stored emails. If they were "pulled
from the server", then they are stored in a PST file. Find that PST file
(make sure that hidden files and folders are visible), then open it with
Outlook (File | Open | Outlook Data File).

Do you mean you used a System Restore Point or that you used the PC's
"restore to factory" CD to reinstall everything as it came from the vendor?
if the latter, it's likely all your Outlook data is gone, especially if you
had to reinstall the software you installed after buying the PC originally.
