You'd have to find out when the last backup was made by your host...but some hosts won't restore a backup to retrieve one page. Probably be quicker to just re-make the page.
| How do I retrieve a web page that I put up yesterday but accidentally
| overwrote this morning?
:-(
I avoid this by "save as" a new folder every day I am making changes. The
folders are named by website+date. That way it's always there to get back to.
Once a week, these folders are burned to a CD and filed in a fire safe.
An actually a simple exercise, If you use FrontPage 2003 then there is a
couple of ways to do this.
In your publishing menu you have three options; Local to remote, Remote to
local and synchronize.
You could simply use “Remote to local†, or just go to the remote window
situated on the right locate the file right click on it select “Publish
selected file†which will copy the file from the site which you accidentally
have over written.
