Retrieving inbox, deleted, sent and adress

Hi,
Recently purchased new computer windows XP. Old windows 98 computer died.
I would like to put my old addresses, inbox, sent, and deleted into new
windows xp outlook. Someone told me to do "search", ".*dbx", and hit enter.
I could see inbox, deleted, and sent were there, but when I clicked on them
it was jibbberish. I apparetnly need another program to open them with, I
tried browsing to outlook express, but that didn't do anything. I know that
I have inbox, b/c it says 79,000 KB DBX file. So, please help, many of the
emails I need for work. Thanks!!

DBX files are for Outlook Express, PST/OST files are for Outlook.

To transfer data files from an old computer to a new one, the easiest
method is FAST (Files and Settings Transfer Wizard); see
