If you set up a pst file in the new Unicode format, you will need to find
someone with Outlook 2003, open it, and then create a new pst file in
97-2002 format. You then need to copy everything in your 2003 pst file into
the 97-2002 format one.

Unfortunately that won't work as the OP had a /trial/ version of
Office 2003 which has expired! So the OP will need to find someone
with a proper version of 2003 to be able to do this!

But downloading a new trial may work, as might setting back the clock on the
PC.

You'd probably have to do a system restore (if you can) to a point before
the original trial was started or fiddle with the registry as well I
shouldn't wonder.....
