Hi, Skyman.
Let's try the easy way first: Click the header of the Sent column. This
should sort all the messages by date and time sent. Click it again if you
want to reverse the order from oldest first to newest first.
You might need to change some settings in Tools | Options. In an active
newsgroup like this *.vista.general, there may be more than a thousand
messages posted in a day. The default setting is to "Get 300 headers at a
time", so if you download only once a day, you'll be missing 700 of each
thousand. You can click Tools | Options | Read, and on this tab, change the
300 to any number up to 1,000. Or - especially if you have a broadband
connection - UNcheck the box altogether to get ALL the headers. (Warning:
This might take a long time, especially the first time.)
Also, click View | Current View | View by conversation. (I'm using WLM now;
in WM, it says Group messages by conversation, as I recall.) This will keep
the thread coherent, instead of scattered among all the other topics.
If that's not what you meant, please post back in this same thread.
