retire DC

what is the process of moving AD DNS from one soon to be retired DC to
the new DC? I see plenty of Docs on decommissioning AD, but am unsure
about DNS.

Make the other DC a DNS server and if the
zone is not autocreated, make it a Secondary
long enough to copy all of the records (zone
transfer) from the current master, then change
it to AD-integrated and you can consider
removing the old one.

Watch out for other roles (FSMO).

And make sure you have (enough) GCs.
